Today, I have written to the Education Secretary about Hilltop School in Maltby. 👇🏻

In 2009, the Labour government had plans to rebuild Hilltop - a SEN school - with appropriate space and facilities. The Tories scrapped this.

Why won’t the Tories properly tax energy companies to help families struggling with their bills? pic.twitter.com/gZTjIPkNRL

Families in Rother Valley are worse off under the Conservatives. After 13 years of Tory rule, people are struggling more than ever to pay the bills or save for the future. It’s time for a Labour government. pic.twitter.com/vOnBbjVRJq

Out speaking to residents in Dinnington. A bit of cold won’t stop us. ❄️
Heartbroken to hear of the passing of my friend and mentor Alistair Darling.
Alistair was one of our great public servants who has left an enduring legacy on our country.
As Chancellor, he showed extraordinary leadership and helped steward our economy during the global financial crisis.
I’m sadder than words can say. Alistair Darling was a great man, but never expected to be treated as one. A man who always felt the weight of the huge decisions that public service involves, but was still able to take them - even in the darkest of economic times
Alistair Darling, like all the best people, combined devotion to duty with being really good fun. May his wonderful family be enveloped in love from everyone he worked with and on behalf of today.
Overall there's been a 14% increase in homeless families with children in temporary accomodation in the last year alone.
